Why Isn’t There A Viagra Type Pill For Women? WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Probably called "No-Doze."

Probably called “No-Doze.”

Sooooooo. The question all men are asking, have asked, and still are asking is finally answered in an article byKorin Miller on Yahoo Health.

Which is…………..”Why the hell haven’t they invented a Viagra pill for women for cripes sake!!!!”

There’s even one for reptiles………………….viagra1

Sooooooooooooooo. When I came across this article by Korin, I immediately began to read it to find the answer for the benefit of all mankind. Um…..womankind as well.

So, I began reading this………..(parts of Korin’s article are in quotes)

“Viagra is practically synonymous with treatment of male erectile dysfunction, but men with ED can also choose from drugs such as Levitra, Stendra, and Cialis. Meanwhile, women suffering from sexual dysfunction can choose… nothing.”

“More than 17 years after Viagra received approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), there still isn’t a drug on the market that can help women experiencing sexual dysfunction. One company, Sprout Pharmaceuticals, is hoping to change that with a sexual arousal drug for women called flibanserin, but the FDA has already rejected the medication twice.”

mmmm

Um….yep…further tests required

“Flibanserin is up for its third FDA review and will be the subject of a joint open public hearing held by the FDA this week, on June 4. During the approval process, the FDA weighs the potential risks versus benefits of a drug. So far, the agency has not found that the benefits of flibanserin outweigh the risks for women, which include sleepiness, drowsiness, and headaches.”v10

WAIT!!!!!!!

Let me see if I understand this correctly.

The FDA hasn’t approved the drug flibanserin and rejected approval of the drug two times already and is now looking at it for a third time because, (now grasp this) because, “The agency has not found that the benefits, (no more I have a headache excuses) outweigh the risks for women, which include, sleepiness, drowsiness and headaches.”

WTF!

Every woman NOW has sleepiness, drowsiness and headaches when a guy wants sex! Without taking a damn pill.

So, like does the FDA not have a clue that 99.9% of married women now say, “Not tonight dear, I have a headache, or I’m drowsy or I’m sleepy”?

And THAT’S why they’re a bit hesitant to approve that drug?v13

I don’t get it.

Actually a lot of married men aren’t “getting it” thanks to the FDA.

Bastards.

And, on top of that, MD Irwin Goldstein, director of sexual medicine at Alvarado Hospital in San Diego  and president-elect of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health added: “Some women also have difficulty shutting off the multitasking part of their brain during sex, which can also cause sexual dysfunction”

Multitasking!!!

Multitasking

Multitasking

Oh yeah, I forgot about THAT!

Like, “Honeeee, am I not turning you on, you seem a bit distracted.”

“Oh no dear. It’s not you. Just keep on doing what you’re doing and don’t let my knitting and watching American Idol disturb you. Um, are you almost finished?”v9

But WAIT! There is a woman on our side men.

“Holly Thacker, MD. director of the Cleveland Clinic’s Center of Specialized Women’s Health, (which I assume is in Cleveland) points out that the potential side effects of fibanserin pale in comparison to the side effects of many erectile dysfunction drugs, which include the risk of heart attack, stroke, and vision and hearing loss.”

WHAT?

Oh…sorry, lost my vision and hearing there for a sec.

“I think the FDA is acting very paternalistic about this drug,” Thacker tells Yahoo Health. “There are sexual dysfunction drugs that can cause serious side effects and even death for men. And flibanserin, which can just cause headache or nausea for women, has not been approved yet. They’re being a little too outright sexist.”

I think I love this woman.v7

So, to sum this all up, I think Thacker hit it on the nail when she indicated that there might be a “sexist” angle to the FDA’s decision to so far not approve this drug.

WHY? Who TF knows. Maybe the FDA is made up of a bunch of old guys who couldn’t get an erection if ya gave them four Viagra pills. OR……..their afraid if the drug gets approved their wives might want sex and their hearts might give out. OR……they really have some butt ugly wives and dread the thought of EVER having sex with them.

mmmm

Um………dream?

“Currently, women experiencing sexual dysfunction have a few options. They can undergo psychological therapy, apply estrogen creams for vaginal dryness, or use battery-operated devices to stimulate their pelvic floor, causing an orgasm.” “That’s pretty much it,” says Thacker.

“While Thacker says these treatments can be effective for some women, she notes that there is a group of women who biologically lose their sexual desire — women who could benefit from a pill like flibanserin.”v11

But….considering the FDA is dragging their gonads approving this drug I guess we men have to hang in there until it is finally approved.

AND…..if you find your wife/girlfriend IS a bit uninterested in sex or is constantly distracted, might wanna just go with the flow and at least give her some incentive to at least pretend you’re really turning her on.

Like maybe tacking this up on the ceiling of your bedroom………………..
